National Park Picnic

"ooh bus" Charlie said, standing up and walking next to Samantha.

Samantha walked up to the buss door as it pulled up "after you Charlie, since your the one who knows were we are going."

"I sure do" He said, winking and stepping on the bus, showing the bus driver a ticket and pointing his thumb at Samantha as he walked past.

"Hey Gareth,She's with me." Charlie added at the bus drivers questioning look.

Samantha stepped onto the bus just behind Charlie. "Hello, can I please have one ticket to the same destination as Charlie?" She asked cheerfully, smiling all the while.

Gareth grinned and handed Samantha a ticket. "You have fun now kid.And no funny stuff Charlie-boy!" he said, calling out to Charlie who had taken a seat mid way up the bus.

Charlie laughed and sat against the window

"Thank you" Samantha took the ticket and walked down the buss and sat next to charlie, as the buss started to move. So do you live at home with anyone?"

"Nope! My younger sister comes around often though... ill see if she can watch the house while im away." Charlie said, laughing at the idea of his sister's reaction when she finds out.

"A younger sister, she must be not that younger then you right if she can watch our house for you. So whats she like?"

"Well yeah, she's 16. And its not like my parents trust me to keep her safe, or trust her enough to stay at my house without a mature person to look after her." Charlie grinned, "As you can tell, I'm not considered mature by a few people."

"She... well, her name is Lily. Shes pretty outrageous" He smiled, "Pretty stubborn too, buuut we're like two peas in a pod."

"Thats nice, I wish I had a little sister. I'm actually knida jealous now" Samantha winked. "How can your parents not consider you mature yet let you live by yourself?"

Charlie laughed, "I dont know, they more or less kicked me outta home when i got into uni, but dont consider me responsible enough to take care of my sister. It doesn't make much sense"

"ouch thats harsh. I left home of my own accord." The buss stopped and Samantha loked over at Charlie "Is this our stop?"

Charlie glanced outside and shook his head, "Nope, got two more stops till we get off" He grinned, "Harsh maybe, but it made me take care of myself.... to some extent"

"Okay, but its still harsh" Samantha stared off through the window as the scenery passed by.

Charlie smiled, "Im glad they did it though. Im not sheltered by them if i live on my own." He thought for a moment.

"What about you, do you have any siblings?"

Samantha looked at Charlie"Nope none at all, In fact I'm not sure if I have any cousins ether." The buss stopped again as samantha glanced out the window.

"Sounds like a bit of a quiet family life then? well, compared to large families anyway." Charlie said, glancing out the window.

"Very quiet, since all the family I have lives no where near here. Our stops next right?"

"Yep!"Charlie said, trying to stop a yawn, "Next stop"

(sorry but I'm going to move this on a bit)

The buss trundled along for a couple of minutes down the streets, finally coming to Charlie's and Samantha's stop.
"Come on Charlie this is our stop." Samantha jumped up and walked down the buss to the exit.

"Well aware of this Samantha" Charlie said, jumping up and off the bus, heading down the street towards his house.

Samantha walked down the street next to Charlie, aware of the two other girls who had got off the buss and following them down the street. "So which house is yours?" she said glancing behind her.

Charlie pointed to a house about 100 metres down the street, a small house with a broken gate at the front.

"That one" He said, grinning.

"Its nice that your sister is home." Samantha stopped, got closer to Charlie and whispered to him. "but I don't mean to worry you but those two girls behind have been following us since the bus stop. Lets keep 100m from your house till they go away. At least I hope they go away if you catch my drift." Samantha pulled back and winked. "Don't worry, I'm sure your sister and I will get along fine."

He stepped up to the broken gate, but paused as he heard Samantha.

"Uhh... ok? But i don't see why you're so suspicious of them." Charlie muttered. "I swear I've seen one of them around.."
