National Park Picnic

"Hrm let me take a look" Samantha crawled over to a cupboard near by, she pulled open the top half to reveal a far size T.V and the bottom to access the DVDs. "Hrm, I don't know. I've got allot of cooking DVDs" She continued to rummage through the cupbard "I don't really watch TV that much, half the reason its stuck in this cupboard. I don't really like horror or anything gory; romances are okay but most of them are to predictable; action movies are cool but I feel most of the time they have no story, its just explosion after explosion." Samantha pulled her head out of the cupboard hold a DVD. "Ever watched howls moving castle?"

"Nope" Charlie said with a grin, sliding around to face the tv.

"Ive heard about it though. Wanna watch it?"

"Sure I'll just pop it in" Samantha put the disk into the DVD player and grabbed the remote of the top of it and resumed her cushion and hit the play button.

"Well that was good" *Ring* "Ah the cake is done" Samantha got up and walked over to the oven and produced from it a chocolate cake laying it down on the bench she started to lather chocolate icing onto it. "The cake won't be ready to eat till after dinner when its cool enough to eat." She chucked a key chain over to Charlie. "Catch. Okay this is the spare key to the apartment and the the keychain tag is electronic and will grant you access to the building. My room is off limits and will be locked when I'm not here, so don't try." She showed her key chain witch had five keys on it. "So do you live far from here?"

"I'm not sure why you think id try to get into your room to begin with....no offence, but sure. Ill try to avoid opening the door." Charlie said, catching the key chain.

"You could say so. I usually catch a bus to or near uni and walk from there, so its probably 20 minutes to half an hour back to my house"

"So it would be 40 minute round trip. I was going to surgest that you go get some of you stuff from your house but it depends how long you want to lay low."

"Well... i guess a week minimum." Charlie said, standing up and knotting the key-chain through a belt loop on the shorts.

"Wanna come with?"

"Sure, just let me put dinner on" Samantha took a large pot out of the fridge and put it on the stove top. "That will cook slowly while we're out." She then dashed into her room and was out in a blink with her bag. "Right ready to go"

"That was quick" Charlie said, heading out the door.

"Hmm... lets hope a bus is coming around this way shortly."

"Would the busses be running a this time? It is like five pm"

"Yeah, they run till like, 8 at night." Charlie said, stopping in front of the elevator and jabbing the button a few hundred times.

"Steady on there, hitting it more won't make it come faster." The doors to the elevator opened and Samantha got inside.

"Well aware" Charlie said, stepping into the elevator after her. "Its just fun to hit it that many times"

Samantha hit the floor one button and the elevator started moving, reaching the bottom quickly and smoothly. Samantha stepped into the loby and walked across to the exit. "We should be able to catch a buss from just outside the door. Do you know what number we have to catch?"

"Uhhh.... 61A i think. Seen it go this way whenever i got off at the mall" Charlie said, exiting the building and glancing about for a bus stop.

"Right." Samantha walked up to the buss-stop and looked on the board in the plastic wall. "5:15 is the next buss so it shoudl only take a couple of minutes."

"Awesome" Charlie said, and collapsed onto the seat and sighed. "Im more tired than usuuaal"

"Well thats probably because you've had a rather exciting day, well from what I've heard." Samantha took up the seat next to him. "Your new to the whole kampfer thing right?"

"Yeah, this is the first day its happened..." Charlie said, yawning and leaning against the bus shelter behind the seat. "Craaazzy stuff"

"You'll get used to it. Thou your are a boy, so it take a bit longer then usual." Samantha giggled stopping almost as she started. "Okay then I guess its pop quiz time."

"Pop quiz time?" Charlie said, raising an eyebrow. "Whats the topic?"

"Okay first question. What are the three kampfer powers?"

"Three? yeah......Three." Charlie muttered, before voicing his guess.
"Hmm... well there's those swords i have, and i heard of some magic thing...and what, guns?"

"Correct, next question. You can take off the contact bracelet, true or false?" Samantha pointed at her own blue bracelet.

Charlie laughed, "Well, as much as ive tried, i cant get it off...so id say false."

"Correct, although chopping your arm off might do the trick." Samantha poked her tongue out. Hearing a rumble she looked around to see the buss on it way down the street. She lept up off her seat and walked over to to curb, sticking her arm out.
